I am offically accepted into the PhotoGenX DTS in Kona Hawaii and I am getting so excited. I am just waiting to get some information on if I really do need to get a Visa or not right now. I have heard both that I do and that I do not need to get one so I am now trying to get a concrete answer. I think I probably do. But, time is definately running out so I need to figure this out soon. I have about 64 days until it actually starts…. it is coming up fast and there is so much to do…like fundraising… here is my breakdown.
Total Cost of school: $10,000 USD -> Converted into CDN: $ 12,294.18
I am going to pay $5000 on my own for my lecture phase, and I am going to fundraise the rest. I have already collected $2400 in support from others so right now I am looking to raise about well…. basically $5000. That is a lot of money so I am really going to have to trust that God will provide the rest. I know that He wants me to do this and I feel confident that He will also provide the funding for it. No Worries!!
And as for where we will be going for the outreach phase… They have mentioned South America, specifically Panama and the Carribbean. I have never been to either of those places so I am excited to see what we do there.
